My Approach

At the heart of our work together are several key tools and approaches, each chosen for its ability to foster deep understanding, healing, and self-compassion:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): IFS plays a crucial role in how we connect to ourselves and the parts of us that are in pain but unseen. Through this approach, I guide you in compassionately witnessing the pain you carry, allowing for healing that embraces every aspect of who you are.
     

  • Uncovering Deeply Held Beliefs: Together, we explore and challenge deeply held, and often destructive, beliefs about ourselves and the world. This exploration paves the way for a more constructive and nurturing self-view.
     

  • Emotion Acceptance and Understanding: We employ tools that enable you to understand and accept your emotions fully. By creating the necessary space to experience these emotions, we learn from them and, ultimately, turn them into allies rather than adversaries.
     

  • Cognitive Reframing: Finding new ways of thinking that uplift and support you is integral to our work. By challenging cognitive distortions that distort our view of reality and fuel resentment, we open up new perspectives that are aligned with your true self.
     

  • Compassion and Self-Kindness: Throughout our journey, we apply all these tools within a framework of compassion and love, learning how to be kind and gentle with ourselves. This approach not only facilitates healing but also fosters a nurturing relationship with oneself that supports lifelong growth and happiness.
     

These tools are not applied in isolation but are woven together to create a tailored approach that meets you where you are in your healing journey. Our goal is to equip you with the understanding, strategies, and compassion you need to navigate your path to healing and wholeness.
